The Chief 27 gallon underground garbage can has been a popular unit for decades.  This can has been used extensively in Sun City and Sun City West Arizona, on the South Shore of Long Island in Atlantic Beach and Long Beach, in Westchester county of New York.........and on golf courses and country clubs from New York to Hawaii.

In 2016 Noll/Norwesco stopped production of the Chief Inground Garbage Can.
